Editorial and review policy

StudioSift separates what a vendor documents, what our research verifies and what remains an editorial judgement. This page defines the standard future product coverage must meet.

Last updated 14 September 2026

Editorial principles

Coverage should begin with a buyer problem and a defined agency context. A product is not inherently best; it can only be a strong fit for particular workflows, team sizes, client expectations and constraints. Reviews should therefore make the assumed use case visible.

Material claims should be attributable to current documentation, a reproducible evaluation or clearly labelled editorial analysis. Limitations and implementation costs should receive the same attention as attractive features.

Research labels for future coverage

01

Documented

A capability found in current first-party product material. This confirms the published claim, not how well the feature works in practice.

02

Evaluated

A workflow examined directly in a product environment using a stated scenario, account level and evaluation date.

03

Observed

An operational pattern supported by practical examples, buyer reports or repeatable implementation evidence.

04

Editorial judgement

A conclusion derived from the evidence and criteria. Judgements should explain who may reasonably disagree and why.

Commercial and affiliate policy

No affiliate links are currently used anywhere on StudioSift. The publication does not currently accept sponsored rankings, paid placement or vendor-written reviews.

If affiliate relationships are introduced, qualifying links will be labelled near the point of use and a commission will not change the price paid by the reader. Commercial availability will not guarantee inclusion, ranking or a favourable conclusion.

Corrections and material updates

Software changes quickly. Future product pages should display a meaningful review or verification date. Material corrections should update the affected conclusion rather than being hidden inside a general refresh.

StudioSift will add a public correction channel when product-level coverage begins. Until then, this launch edition avoids time-sensitive vendor claims and concentrates on durable evaluation criteria.
